About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic KS2 supply teachers to support a range of primary schools in Birmingham. You will step into classrooms on short notice, delivering engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning when the regular teacher is absent. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose assignments that fit your schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Adapt teaching resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Recent experience teaching KS2, including early career teachers.
- Strong classroom presence and proactive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Lesson planning and delivery.
- Behaviour management.
- Adaptability to different school settings.
