KS2 Teacher & English Lead – Primary School (Full‑time)

About the role

The school is a highly regarded 1‑form entry primary school in Chiswick, Hounslow, seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher who will also lead English across the school. The successful candidate will start in September 2026 on a full‑time, long‑term basis, delivering high‑quality KS2 lessons and driving the school’s literacy strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging KS2 lessons for a designated class.
• Lead the English curriculum, supporting reading, writing, phonics and oracy development school‑wide.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, presentation and achievement.
• Monitor and analyse pupil data to inform teaching and identify improvement priorities.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and colleagues to develop and refine English provision.
• Contribute to staff development and whole‑school improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
• Proven experience teaching KS2 pupils.
• Demonstrated success in raising attainment in English.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive, high‑expectation teaching.
