About the role
We are seeking a passionate KS2 (Year 4) teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Newham from September 2026. The school is rated "Good" by Ofsted and is known for outstanding behaviour, safety and a supportive community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 curriculum for Year 4 pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and senior leadership to support pupil development.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE.
- Strong academic record and a track record of success in a KS2 setting.
- Creative, resourceful and adaptable teaching style.
- Ability to communicate enthusiasm for learning to children and parents.
Required skills
- Curriculum planning and delivery for KS2.
- Classroom management and behaviour support.
- Effective assessment and data‑driven reporting.
