KYC Operations Analyst

About the role

The KYC Operations Analyst joins the Global Merchant Operations team within the Global Merchant & Network Services business unit. The role focuses on KYC/KYB case analysis, monitoring, and execution of operational processes throughout the merchant lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform KYC/KYB case reviews, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Support ongoing monitoring, review alerts, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist remediation efforts by analyzing impacted accounts, documenting findings, and helping resolve KYC/KYB gaps.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Partner with compliance, risk, control management, servicing, and technology teams to implement KYC/AML requirements.
• Apply KYC expertise to interpret policies, support decision‑making, and provide operational insights.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend workflow and control enhancements.
• Document procedures, controls, and standard operating processes.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of experience in KYC, AML, financial crime compliance, or related operational risk within financial services.
• Demonstrated KYC subject‑matter expertise, including due‑diligence and risk assessment.
• Experience with merchant services and knowledge of GMS & GS systems.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross‑functional environment.
