Landing Gear Advanced Test Specialist

About the role

Airbus is seeking an Advanced Test Specialist to join the Landing Gear Test Team at its Filton site. You will lead test and analytics activities, provide technical guidance, and act as a reference point for new and continuous development projects across rig, flight, and in‑service testing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate landing‑gear rig testing, flight testing and in‑service support activities.
• Develop and implement test strategies for new and existing landing‑gear systems.
• Analyse test data, identify performance issues and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor and support other team members, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to integrate innovative testing techniques.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in avionics or hydraulic/mechanical systems.
• Strong motivation for innovation, problem‑solving and collaborative work.
• Hands‑on attitude with a passion for data‑driven performance assessment.
• Ability to translate technical challenges into practical, digital‑focused solutions.
