Lead Customer Marketing Manager

About the role

Lead Customer Marketing Manager at DeepL, a global AI language company, will champion customer stories to drive brand, demand and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop high‑impact customer stories from support tickets, sales nominations and win‑loss interviews, turning them into case studies, videos and event‑ready assets.
• Coordinate press interviews, webinars, keynotes and Customer Advisory Board sessions, shaping narratives and ensuring lasting impact.
• Provide sales and customer success teams with relevant references, managing permissions and ensuring timely delivery.
• Own end‑to‑end story production, aligning with launches, events or campaigns and handling legal, brand and approval processes.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B marketing, especially customer marketing, content, communications or advocacy.
• Bias for action and self‑starter attitude, automating processes before escalating.
• Strong storytelling curiosity and ability to extract narratives from customer business problems.
• Customer‑facing polish, comfortable from discovery call through launch.
• Strategic judgement to align advocacy output with business priorities.
• Operational rigour in building fast production, approvals and permissions workflows.

Required skills

• Experience with B2B marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, marketing automation).
• Familiarity with legal and brand compliance processes for external content.
