About the role
We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to become the technical lead within a growing manufacturing business that designs and manufactures electrical distribution equipment. The successful candidate will own the quality function, drive continuous improvement and develop the quality team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Quality team.
- Take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
- Manage internal and external audits, supplier quality and customer complaints.
- Identify quality risks and implement improvement initiatives across the company.
Required profile
- Proven quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS and auditing processes.
- Confident in leading teams and driving improvement projects.
- Seeking a senior role with autonomy and progression.
