Lead Teacher of Business (GCSE) & Computing (KS3)

About the role
An ambitious and inspirational teacher is needed to lead the Business (GCSE) curriculum and deliver Computing (KS3) across a high‑performing girls' secondary school in Westminster, Central London. The position starts in September (or as soon as possible) and offers the chance to shape teaching practice within a supportive, academically driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and development of the GCSE Business programme.
- Teach Computing to Key Stage 3 pupils.
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning and achievement within the department.
- Support curriculum planning, assessment and creation of high‑quality teaching resources.
- Inspire students to reach their full academic potential.
- Collaborate with a talented and supportive staff team.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE level.
- Confidence teaching Computing at Key Stage 3.
- Proven record of excellent classroom practice and strong pupil outcomes.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Passion for raising achievement and inspiring young people.
- Middle‑leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.
Required skills
- Business Studies (GCSE) curriculum knowledge.
- Computing (KS3) curriculum knowledge.
