About the role
We have a great opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to join our team at the Heathrow office. You will help deliver engaging training through the Menzies Academy and Trainee Academy, supporting the L&D Manager and Advisor on a range of learning initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Trainee Academy, supporting onboarding and induction for trainees and professional hires.
- Act as the first point of contact for training queries, managing shared inboxes and coordinating bookings.
- Work with Training Managers and HR Business Partners to plan qualification pathways and monitor progress.
- Support apprentice onboarding and liaise with training providers such as BPP, Kaplan and First Intuition.
- Track trainee performance and ensure a smooth learning journey.
- Manage L&D administration, including invoices, expenses and system updates.
- Maintain Learning Management Systems (Kallidus & Articulate) and the HR database (Bob) with accuracy.
- Assign and track e‑learning modules, attendance and completion reports.
- Keep the Menzies Academy calendar up to date and help organise learning events.
- Build relationships with course facilitators and providers to ensure high‑quality learning experiences.
- Support the L&D Manager and Advisor with projects and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team, providing ad‑hoc admin and project support.
Required profile
- A‑Level or degree qualified.
- Tech‑savvy with confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for schedules, data analysis and material creation.
- Organised multitasker able to juggle multiple qualification pathways, onboarding processes and reports.
- Strong communicator who builds positive relationships with trainees, managers and training providers.
- Analytical thinker comfortable working with data and systems such as Bob, iManage, Power BI and apprenticeship portals.
- Collaborative and proactive, working well with HR, L&D colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Previous exposure to Learning & Development or apprenticeship coordination is a plus.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Kallidus) and qualification tracking databases beneficial.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to other Menzies offices.
