Learning Support Assistant – 1:1 & Small Group Support

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a well‑regarded secondary school in Tower Hamlets, East London. The role focuses on providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with special educational needs and behavioural challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Support students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and behavioural needs.
• Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions to enhance learning.
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff to support curriculum delivery.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement during lessons.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students and staff.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable).
• Previous teaching assistant or support work experience (desirable).
• Bachelor's degree (desirable).
• Passion for education and supporting young people.
• Reliability, punctuality and commitment.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS.
