Learning Support Assistant (Primary)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join schools across South East England. In this role you will help primary‑age pupils access the curriculum, build confidence and develop social skills both inside and outside the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for students with additional needs.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and student engagement.
• Support the development of social and emotional skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff to tailor support plans.

Required profile

• Positive, patient and caring attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
• Genuine passion for supporting education and student development.
