About the role
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Eastbourne. The role starts in September 2026 and runs full‑time during term dates, providing vital support to pupils so they can achieve their academic, social and emotional potential.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Encourage confidence, independence and active participation in classroom tasks.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Required profile
- Patient, caring and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
