About the role
HAYS Education is looking for enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to provide day‑to‑day cover and long‑term vacancy support for schools in Eastbourne and surrounding areas. This flexible role suits both early‑career and experienced teachers seeking full‑time, part‑time or occasional assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality primary teaching across a range of subjects.
- Provide short‑term cover for absent staff and support long‑term staffing needs.
- Integrate quickly into each school’s team and follow its policies and curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and lesson plans.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Previous experience working within a primary school environment.
- A genuine desire to contribute to a dedicated school staff team.
