About the role
Chesterfield College is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join its thriving Sport team. The successful candidate will be a clear communicator with a passion for sport, responsible for delivering and developing a range of sport‑related courses.
Key responsibilities
- Teach across a variety of sport modules at different learning levels.
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of existing and new sport courses.
- Identify and promote volunteering opportunities and work‑experience links with industry partners.
- Inspire and motivate learners to achieve their full potential.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a related sport subject.
- Qualified Teacher Training (PGCE or Certificate in Education) – essential.
- Experience teaching sport units at various levels.
- Desirable: background in Sports Science or higher‑education teaching experience.
Required skills

- Salary range £21,734 – £37,602 per annum.
- 37‑hour work week, 52 weeks per year.
