Lecturer Practitioner in Architecture

About the role
We are seeking a Lecturer Practitioner in Architecture to join our School of Architecture and Planning. You will combine analogue and digital design expertise to develop and deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, while creating innovative assessment material and supporting curriculum development.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver teaching modules across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Develop cutting‑edge teaching resources, assessments and curriculum recommendations.
- Lead practical, practice‑based activities, including demonstrations, industry visits, placements and degree‑apprenticeship projects.
- Build and maintain industry partnerships, short courses, networking events and new market opportunities.
- Contribute to external professional networks, student recruitment and placement initiatives.
Required profile
- Registered architect with ARB/RIBA qualification.
- Proven experience in both analogue and digital design processes.
- Strong communication and representation abilities for teaching and industry engagement.
- Ability to develop curriculum and foster professional links.
Required skills
- Computer‑aided design (CAD) proficiency.
- Rhino modelling software.
- Digital fabrication techniques.
