Legal Cashier – Full‑time position in Guildford

About the role

Join a modern, forward‑thinking legal support team that serves lawyers across the UK. As a Legal Cashier you will manage high‑volume payment processes for conveyancing matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle payment requisitions: approve, print, send for approval and record transactions.
• Manage card payment reports and postings.
• Process bill requests, search disbursements and raise bills accordingly.
• Process non‑search disbursements and enter CHAPS/Faster Payments.
• Upload payments to the bank and address account‑related queries.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as a Legal Cashier, preferably in high‑volume conveyancing.
• Strong knowledge of online banking, SRA accounts rules and AML regulations.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, stay calm under pressure and provide excellent telephone and customer service.
