Level 2 Nursery Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Level 2 Nursery Assistant to join our early years team across multiple sites in Leeds. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities that support early years development.
• Provide individualized care and support to children, fostering positive relationships with families.
• Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high‑quality learning environment.

Required profile

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Reliable and flexible, able to cover shift patterns between 8 am and 6 pm.
• Passionate about supporting children’s growth and development.
