Level 3 Nursery Assistant – Flexible Roles in Southampton

About the role

We are seeking caring, confident and creative Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistants to join our expanding Early Years team in Southampton. The role offers flexible placements, including long‑term, short‑term cover and day‑to‑day supply work across local nurseries.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development through play.
• Create a warm, safe and stimulating environment.
• Work closely with nursery teams to deliver high‑quality care.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
• Follow safeguarding and EYFS guidelines.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Enthusiastic, proactive and nurturing attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and genuine passion for Early Years education.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
