Lift Truck Operator II – Calhoun, GA

About the role

Shaw Industries is seeking motivated individuals for 2nd and 3rd shift Lift Truck Operator II positions at its Calhoun, GA distribution center. As a key member of the distribution team, you will help move carpet tile materials throughout the warehouse while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, retrieve, and transport materials and pallets across the warehouse.
• Maintain paperwork to receive and track materials as required.
• Wrap and band hard‑surface materials on pallets and package miscellaneous items for shipment.
• Read, write, and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
• Tape and repair damaged packaging and keep workspaces clean and tidy.

Required profile

• Experience using computers for data entry and interpreting instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to see small numbers and words on computer screens.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and work at heights.
