Locum Educational Psychologist (Wigan)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to join our client on a locum basis in Wigan. The role focuses on delivering statutory assessments for students, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. It offers flexible, outside‑IR35 working arrangements, allowing you to set your own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct statutory educational assessments for pupils as required.
• Provide clear, evidence‑based reports and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards.
• Complete a minimum of one assessment per month.

Required profile

• Qualified in Educational Psychology.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Availability to undertake at least one assessment each month.
• Experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues is desirable.
