Logistics Operation Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Operation Coordinator supports the UK passenger‑car operation team, ensuring smooth vehicle supply, delivery and retailer communication. Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, the role maintains data accuracy, coordinates logistics activities and facilitates cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Support vehicle allocation, aligning stock to new retail and fleet orders and monitoring factory orders.
• Assist planning and forecasting activities and help implement operational plans.
• Coordinate nationwide vehicle deliveries with logistics partners, monitor arrivals and update real‑time status.
• Handle HMRC compliance for import/export duties and customs requirements.
• Request and reconcile logistics‑related supplier invoices, resolve discrepancies and track payments.
• Manage the logistics shared inbox, prioritise and escalate queries to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Provide general administrative support, including data entry, document control and reporting.
• Support process and system development initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive sector, such as a dealer group, fleet/rental operation or OEM.
• Experience in logistics coordination, vehicle allocation or supply‑chain support.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with internal teams, retailer partners and external suppliers.
