About the role
The school is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils in a SEN environment during the lunch period. You will help create a safe, calm and inclusive atmosphere for children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas during lunch.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social interaction.
- Maintain clear routines and ensure a structured environment.
- Work closely with teaching staff to support individual pupil needs.
- Assist with any incidents and ensure the wellbeing of all children.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
- Resilient and able to work with children who have complex SEND needs.
- Confident in setting boundaries with warmth and consistency.
- Calm under pressure and able to think quickly.
- Passionate about helping young people thrive.
