Management Accountant – Advertising

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant with a cost‑focus to join a fast‑growing advertising agency in London. The role offers exposure to commercial finance, revenue accounting and FP&A, with a clear path towards a Finance Manager position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, pre‑payments and payroll.
• Produce detailed cost reports and analysis for the business.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain the fixed‑asset register.
• Prepare VAT returns, bank reconciliations and inter‑company transaction reconciliations.
• Oversee the purchase‑order process and manage an Accounts Payable/Finance Assistant.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the group to support month‑end reporting.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, studying towards or holding ACCA/CIMA/AAT qualifications.
• Strong management‑accounting knowledge, including accruals, pre‑payments, balance‑sheet reconciliations, VAT and inter‑company work.
• Experience in a media, advertising or creative environment is highly advantageous.
• Proactive communicator with excellent organisational skills.
