About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Management Accountant to join our fast‑paced Colchester business on a permanent basis. This role offers significant scope for professional growth and the chance to work closely with senior management and operational teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow reporting.
- Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and maintain financial controls.
- Support year‑end audit and statutory reporting processes.
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities for efficiency savings.
- Work closely with operational teams and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Previous experience in a management accounting role.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
