Management Accountant – Fast‑Growth Consumer Brand (London)

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a fast‑growing consumer brand group in London. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will own the month‑end close across multiple entities and help build the finance infrastructure needed for the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close process for several entities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Prepare journals, accruals, pre‑payments and month‑end adjustments.
• Support year‑end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Produce financial analysis to aid commercial decision‑making.
• Assist with inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable queries and high‑volume credit control as needed.
• Contribute to ERP implementation and finance transformation projects.
• Drive improvements to financial processes, controls and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams across the business.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part‑qualified (study support available).
• Strong management accounting experience, preferably in a fast‑paced SME environment.
• Excellent balance‑sheet reconciliation skills.
• Experience supporting audit processes.
