Management Accountant – FinTech (Weybridge)

About the role

This role is for a hands‑on finance professional in a fast‑paced software and technology environment, supporting both routine accounting activities and ad‑hoc reporting requests for a fintech organisation based in Weybridge.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly management accounts process, including reconciliations, ledger reviews, variance analysis and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assist with Group reporting to Head Office, preparing financial submissions, analysis and responding to finance queries.
• Support post‑IPO reporting, IFRS requirements and Group reporting adjustments.
• Review monthly payroll and pensions, and contribute to cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and reforecasting.
• Provide support across core finance processes such as invoicing, bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations, expense and credit‑card controls.
• Assist with year‑end audits, statutory accounts, tax computations and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and internal controls.
• Identify process improvements and support ad‑hoc finance projects and wider team activities.

Required profile

• A professional accounting qualification or relevant degree.
• Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

What we offer

• Salary £58,000 – £62,000 per year plus bonus.
