Management Accountant – Fixed-Term (12‑15 months)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Management Accountant to join a fast‑growing multi‑site consumer business on a 12‑15 month fixed‑term maternity cover. The role will provide financial insight and support operational decision‑making during an ambitious growth phase, working in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end reporting, P&L analysis and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Deliver financial analysis and commercial insight to operational teams.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
• Contribute to board reporting and performance analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve profitability and monitor capital expenditure, new site performance and ROI.
• Support audit processes, system improvements and ad‑hoc commercial projects.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in a multi‑site retail, hospitality, leisure or consumer‑facing business.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
