Management Accountant

About the role

The Management Accountant will join KINTO UK’s Finance function, delivering accurate management accounts and ensuring balance‑sheet integrity. Working closely with the Management Accounts Manager, you will provide financial insight that supports senior decision‑making across the mobility business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and delivery of monthly management accounts on time and to a high standard.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and maintain supporting documentation.
• Review and challenge financial transactions to ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and controls.
• Support the Management Accounts Manager with financial analysis, commentary and insight for senior stakeholders.
• Act as the primary Finance contact for internal teams, delivering clear explanations and trusted support.
• Assist with treasury‑related activities, including cash reconciliations and working‑capital monitoring.
• Maintain robust audit trails and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Identify and implement process, control and efficiency improvements within the Management Accounts function.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting background with experience producing management accounts and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple month‑end deadlines in a structured environment.
• Clear, confident communicator able to engage non‑finance stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset, willingness to challenge and improve controls.
• Collaborative approach with a focus on building trusted relationships.
