About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a manufacturing business in Southampton. You will be central to the finance team, delivering accurate financial information and supporting strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support business decisions.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end financial close activities.
• Provide insights on financial performance to stakeholders.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance.

Required profile

• Experience in management accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UK financial regulations and audit processes.
