Manager-in-Training – Goods In Warehouse (Internal)

About the role

The Goods In warehouse is central to Lush’s logistics, handling the receipt, quality checking and distribution of raw materials and packaging. As a Manager‑in‑Training you will lead the daily operations of this fast‑paced environment, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately while maintaining high team morale and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate work organised by team leaders.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods.
• Utilise warehouse space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently.
• Maintain stock control systems and ensure accurate inventories.
• Organise recruitment, training and performance monitoring of the team.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene and security standards are met.

Required profile

• Relevant warehouse experience with a solid understanding of warehouse operations, stock control principles and health & safety requirements.
• Previous experience as a team leader or in a management role within a distribution environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with stock control systems.
• Experience operating mechanical handling equipment.
