Marketing and Communications Manager

About the role

The Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the marketing and communications function for an independent legal regulator. Working closely with senior leaders, external agencies and key stakeholders, you will own end‑to‑end strategy and execution across digital, PR, events and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the organisation's marketing and communications strategy.
• Deliver integrated campaigns across digital channels, website, social media, PR, publications, email and events.
• Create, edit and manage engaging content for multiple audiences.
• Manage and optimise the website and digital platforms using performance data.
• Lead webinars, events and stakeholder engagement activities to promote regulatory initiatives.
• Oversee external communications agencies, ensuring quality, value for money and effective press relations.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, government contacts, legal sector stakeholders and external partners.
• Produce management information, campaign reporting and updates for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a broad marketing and communications role covering multiple channels.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated campaigns including digital, website, social media, PR and events.
• Strong content creation, copywriting and editing skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience managing websites and using data to improve digital communications.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
