Marketing & Business Development Manager (Aviation)

About the role

Join a leading global law firm’s Aviation practice as a Marketing & Business Development Manager. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Business Development, you will work closely with partners to shape and execute growth strategies across the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the practice’s business development budget.
• Integrate the practice into cross‑selling, communications and client development initiatives.
• Research market trends, client activity and target sectors to generate new opportunities.
• Draft high‑impact pitches, RFP/ITT responses and capability documents.
• Participate in the firm’s client development programme and maintain client accounts.
• Collaborate with the communications team on thought‑leadership content and industry‑focused topics.
• Work with marketing on collateral, events, website content, client bulletins and ROI reporting.

Required profile

• Degree‑educated, preferably with a marketing or related qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ business development experience within a law firm.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to engage senior partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a focus on high‑impact client material.
