Marketing & Business Development Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a boutique West End law firm as a Marketing & Business Development Manager. You will work directly with the Board, partners and fee earners to shape firm‑wide marketing strategies during a period of rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to raise the firm’s profile and win new business.
• Support fee earners in building and maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities.
• Lead and manage all firm marketing events, including seminars, webinars and hospitality.
• Maintain the firm’s website, ensuring content is current and liaising with external web designers.
• Produce client newsletters, bulletins and other marketing literature.
• Coordinate with external designers to create new promotional material.
• Upload content to the website and social media platforms.
• Work with the external PR team to promote the business.
• Respond to enquiries generated by marketing activity.

Required profile

• Strong academic background, preferably with a recognised marketing qualification.
• Proven experience in marketing and business development within the legal sector or a similar partnership environment.
• Results‑driven, proactive, enthusiastic and imaginative.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.

What we offer

• Salary circa £75,000 per annum.
• Hybrid working model – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
• Standard office hours 9:30‑17:30.
