Materials Science Specialist – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for Materials Science Specialists to join our Expert Network and help train and evaluate cutting‑edge AI models using real scientific expertise. You will be paid per task to review, rank and verify AI‑generated material science content.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated technical explanations and research summaries for scientific accuracy.
• Audit scientific papers and AI‑generated graphical abstracts to identify inaccuracies.
• Fact‑check formulas, material properties and experimental results against source documentation.
• Provide feedback to align AI models with enterprise‑ready scientific intelligence.
• Verify the structural integrity of summaries involving complex chemical compositions and material behaviours.

Required profile

• BSc (or higher) in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or a closely related STEM field.
• Strong interest or experience in interpreting phase diagrams, crystalline structures and material property data.
• High attention to detail and ability to concentrate on complex technical tasks for extended periods.
• Professional verification via a LinkedIn profile or comparable work history.
• Active PayPal account for receiving payments.
