Maternity Cover Teacher (Key Stage 3‑4)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated teacher to cover a maternity leave position, delivering lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils. You will work within a specialist SEND environment, supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment for pupils with complex learning needs.
Required profile
- Resilient and dedicated attitude.
- Experience teaching English is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively with pupils who have ASD, SEMH or challenging behaviours.
