Mathematics Teacher – KS3/4 Cover (Bromley)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated Mathematics teachers to provide day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term cover across secondary schools in Bromley. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 (with the possibility of KS5) on a part‑time or full‑time basis, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality mathematics lessons for KS3/4 pupils.
• Mark work, provide constructive feedback and track pupil progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings and school events as required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date safeguarding and Prevent awareness records.
• Integrate fully into the school community, acting as a permanent staff member during the assignment.

Required profile

• Good‑class degree (preferably in Mathematics, though not essential).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics – PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed or equivalent.
• Previous experience teaching secondary‑age students.
• Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Current Prevent awareness training (issued within the last three years).
• Right to work in the UK.
