About the role
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Caterham. The role can start in September, October or January and is available on a permanent, supply or day‑to‑day basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 optional).
- Promote problem‑solving, analytical thinking and numeracy skills across the curriculum.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full academic potential.
- Create a positive, focused learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Collaborate effectively within a supportive Maths department.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with secondary school teaching experience.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to raising achievement and delivering high‑quality lessons.
