M&E Site Manager – London & South East England

About the role

Shorterm Group is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical works on projects across London and the South East. The role focuses on maintaining safe working practices within high‑profile, secure environments while supporting project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with health & safety documentation for all M&E activities.
• Supervise and coordinate on‑site labour, ensuring work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and enforce proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress updates, variations and end‑of‑project documentation.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on safety concerns, access issues and potential programme delays.

Required profile

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential).
• Valid DBS check.
• Full, clean driver’s licence.

Required skills

• M&E site coordination.
• Health & safety compliance and documentation.
• Site inspection and hazard identification.
