Mechanical Site Manager – 3‑Week Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for a short‑term, 3‑week project on a 7‑storey office building in Hove, Sussex. You will lead the mechanical team, overseeing air‑conditioning and ventilation works to ensure they are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily permits to work and coordinate site deliveries.
• Lead daily meetings with the Site Manager and Project Manager.
• Supervise and direct the mechanical workforce on‑site.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety requirements.
• Oversee air‑conditioning and ventilation installations throughout the project.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical building services.
• Strong knowledge of air‑conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Professional, presentable and polite demeanor.
• Strong commitment to health and safety on site.

What we offer

• £290 per day rate.
