Media Finance Assistant – Accounts Receivable

About the role

VisionFR Ltd is seeking a Media Finance Assistant focused on accounts receivable to join its growing finance team in London. This hybrid position offers a quick start and the chance to support day‑to‑day finance operations within a dynamic media agency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily Accounts Receivable inbox and issue monthly customer statements.
• Process customer billing, obtain internal approvals, and issue invoices on schedule.
• Proactively conduct credit control and allocate customer receipts accurately.
• Resolve billing queries and monitor unbilled revenue throughout the month.
• Support Accounts Payable by matching supplier invoices to purchase orders, preparing payment runs and bank files, and handling supplier queries.
• Assist with credit‑card reconciliations, expense allocations, and provide finance‑system support to operational teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in an Accounts Receivable or finance assistant role.
• Good understanding of core accounting principles.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency and confidence using finance systems.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative attitude with high accuracy and attention to detail.
