Media Volunteer – Storytelling and Media Support

About the role

Christian Aid is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring real‑life stories to life. As a Media Volunteer you will support the creation and distribution of compelling content that showcases the impact of supporters across the UK and inspires further action.

Key responsibilities

• Capture moments from local events and translate them into engaging articles or media pieces.
• Help shape stories for various media channels, ensuring they reflect the organisation’s mission.
• Collaborate with the volunteering team to identify story ideas and gather relevant information.
• Assist in editing and proofreading content before publication.

Required profile

• Passion for storytelling and a genuine interest in social impact.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Willingness to work flexibly across England, Scotland or Wales.
• Welsh language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
