Medical Receptionist (Part-Time)

About the role
We are seeking a friendly, organised and highly motivated Medical Receptionist to join our busy team at Waverley Medical Practice on a part‑time basis. As the first point of contact for patients, you will help deliver excellent customer service and ensure smooth operation of the reception area.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Manage telephone enquiries and book appointments.
- Process patient information accurately and confidentially.
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks.
- Maintain the day‑to‑day running of the reception area.
Required profile
- Previous reception or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Strong organisational abilities and IT proficiency.
- A professional and caring attitude towards patients.
