Microsoft Modern Work & AI Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a senior Microsoft Modern Work & AI Consultant to join our growing technical team. In this customer‑facing consultancy role you will help organisations maximise the value of Microsoft technologies through modern workplace, AI and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Microsoft 365, Copilot and AI‑focused consultancy projects.
• Design and implement solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Azure.
• Lead customer workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into technical designs.
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs and implementation plans.
• Support AI adoption, governance and security best practices.
• Contribute to proposals, Statements of Work and presales engagements.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement across the technical function.

Required profile

• Senior‑level consultancy experience with strong customer‑facing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA and Cyber Essentials.
• Proven troubleshooting, problem‑solving and documentation abilities.
• Experience delivering technical projects from design through implementation.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID).
• Microsoft Copilot.
• Power Platform – Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Azure services.
• AI solution development and integration.
• Security/compliance standards: ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, Cyber Essentials.

What we offer

• Base salary £65,000‑£85,000 per year.
• Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
• Contributory pension scheme.
• 25 days annual leave.
• Hybrid working (typically 2 days per week onsite).
