Midweight Video Editor

About the role

LADbible Group is looking for a Midweight Video Editor to join its LADbible Production team within the LAD360 creative unit. The role suits someone with a working history at a production, agency, media owner or brand environment, who has edited branded content for online with tight deadlines and built relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The position is based in London and works hybrid (4 days in the office).

Key responsibilities

• Edit to a high standard using Adobe Premiere, across commercial, social and marketing projects.
• Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks at a high level.
• Assist other editors when needed under the direction of the Senior Video Editors.
• Carry out ad-hoc shoot support, such as DITing.
• Keep up to date with video trends and give feedback in the right forums.
• Colour grade images and videos to broadcast and social standards, and source audio tracks and mix them into well-mastered multi-layer tracks.
• Ensure content follows brand guidelines and the tone of the relevant LADbible Group channels.
• Take direction from the Lead and Senior Video Editors, manage projects with internal and external stakeholders and guide more junior team members.
• Maintain hard drives and archives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher or brand.
• Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
• High-level proficiency in colour grading in Adobe Premiere, sound mixing and mastering.
• Passion for social and branded content, with initiative, problem-solving and creativity.
• Confidence with the Microsoft Office suite.
