Mixed Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Mixed Tax Manager to join a fast‑growing chartered accountancy practice. You will work with a diverse portfolio of UK businesses, delivering tax compliance and strategic advice while supporting the firm’s expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.
• Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns and computations.
• Provide tax planning advice, including inheritance tax and profit extraction strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary liaison with HMRC.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Ensure all tax work complies with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the tax department.

Required profile

• Professional tax or accountancy qualification (CTA, ACCA, ACA).
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio in a tax role.
• Strong technical knowledge of both corporate and personal tax.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work independently or as part of a team.
