Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (QTS) – French, Spanish & German

About the role
We are seeking qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to deliver French, Spanish and German across secondary schools in the Midlands. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and 4, with some opportunities at Key Stage 5, on a full‑time temporary basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging language lessons for pupils aged 11‑16 (and optionally 16‑18).
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with subject leaders and contribute to departmental planning.
- Prepare students for GCSE and, where applicable, A‑Level examinations.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Experience teaching French, Spanish or German in a UK secondary setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Required skills
- Fluency in French, Spanish and German.
- Ability to design curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
- Proficiency with standard classroom technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms).
