Monitoring Claims Handler – Full‑time (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Monitoring Claims Handler to join our fast‑moving credit‑hire business in Uxbridge. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8 am‑4:30 pm, offering a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping to progress their vehicle damage claims.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls, handling basic queries and routing callers to the appropriate team.
• Follow up with customers to obtain required documentation such as vehicle damage images.
• Assist investigations by contacting witnesses, sending statements and gathering evidence.
• Receive and process updates from partner companies and manage related email correspondence.
• Chase insurers for outstanding invoice payments and submit invoices after a sense‑check review.

Required profile

• Excellent phone manner and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate with a proactive, “can‑do” attitude.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify errors and solve problems.
