About the role
Join Sutherland's Absence Management team in Jamaica as an Absence Management Associate. You will handle day‑to‑day leave management for multiple employers, making claim decisions and responding to queries via phone and email.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full absence workflow from intake through eligibility determination to final decision.
- Handle leave queries received via customer platform, phone, and email, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Respond to policy, benefits, attendance, and payroll deduction questions while meeting KPI targets.
Required profile
- Minimum of four CXC subjects including English Language.
- At least 1 year of direct customer interaction experience, preferably by phone and email.
- Strong attention to detail, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Effective phone and email etiquette for customer interactions.
