Mortgage Protection Adviser (Remote, near Reading)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Protection Adviser to work from home while serving clients in the Reading area. You will receive a steady flow of warm, pre‑qualified appointments, allowing you to focus on delivering expert protection advice rather than generating leads.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive protection reviews with clients via telephone or video call.
• Recommend appropriate solutions such as Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Income Protection and Family Income Benefit.
• Maintain a personal diary, manage appointments and follow‑up actions independently.
• Attend quarterly team meetings and occasional training sessions in Reading.
• Ensure all advice complies with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Protection Adviser or Financial Adviser with a track record of converting opportunities into business.
• Holder of CeMAP 1, R05 or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Ability to work autonomously from home while delivering a high level of customer service.
• Residence within approximately 2.5 hours of Reading.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Life Insurance products.
• Understanding of Critical Illness Cover.
• Familiarity with Income Protection and Family Income Benefit schemes.
