Motorsport Business Development Placement

About the role

Bosch is offering a 12-month internship in its motorsport business development team, based at the Nuneaton office. The role covers business development, event coordination, technical request support and customer administration. It is open to undergraduate students eligible for a work placement as part of their university course, and starts in July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities with existing and prospective customers, track UK race series regulations and competitor activity, and support business cases for new technologies and products, including top-level motorsport projects.
• Support the growth of the Bosch Motorsport dealership network: help increase dealership sales through marketing, website improvements and communication, research new dealership partners, and understand how motorsport technologies apply to defence, marine and off-road markets.
• Plan and organise customer visits, technical workshops, trade shows and industry events, coordinate attendee lists and logistics, and follow up after events.
• Work with engineering teams to gather information for customer enquiries, turn technical information into customer-facing presentations and summaries, and track customer requirements.
• Maintain customer action trackers, support customer feedback and surveys, prepare presentations, quotations and meeting minutes, and manage NDAs and business planning support.

Required profile

• Passion for motorsport, engineering, technology or business.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, highly organised with attention to detail, enthusiastic and proactive.
• Right to live and work in the UK for the full duration of the placement, and a placement directly relevant to the course.

Required skills

• Confident use of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
